Wednesday Morning Smiles

In the past few days Caroline has started to be a big smiler first thing in the morning. She must know that giving her parents smiles will keep them from climbing back in bed. Her morning routine usually includes some face to face time with mom and dad, some mobile and baby aquarium time in her crib, and then a trip downstairs from some time on her play mat where she is enthralled with an overhead sun. These pictures where taken before she headed to daycare for the first time for a 3 hour test period. She (and perhaps more critically and her parents) survived that time and another today without incident.

Another Day at the Beach

With the temperature in the low 90s, Caroline headed to the beach again on Monday. She slept through yet another meal allowing her parents to enjoy an amazing lunch on the porch at The Buttery in Lewes. Following lunch the family spent some time on the boardwalk in Rehoboth.

Bug & Bud Saturday

Caroline in her bouncy before heading to Milford. She hasn't found her thumb yet, but she routinely finds her hands.

Asleep in Memorial Park following 4 hours of strolling around the Bug & Bud Festival. Although people are usually excited to see Beth in downtown Milford, they were literally pushing her out of the way to see Miss Caroline on Saturday. Apparently all of that fuss wore her out. Yes, that's her bling-y...the world's most bedazzled pacifier--a gift from friends.

2 Month Check Up

Caroline went to the doctor today. She now weighs 12 pounds, 2 ounces and is 23 inches long. Unfortunately she also got shots--Caroline handled the first like a trooper, was mildly irritated by the second, and as the picture below documents, had a complete meltdown after the third. Luckily she calmed down before leaving the exam room.

Trying on Her Bathing Suit

The great weather on Saturday motivated us to have Caroline try on her bathing suit for our June vacation. It's a 3-6 month, but she's already filling it out...this one might have to be exchanged.

Tuesday Bouncy Time

Caroline enjoying some time in her bouncy last Tuesday. She has been sharing her smiles much more often since then.

1st Easter

Caroline with her parents before church Easter Sunday. She fell asleep on the way there and slept through the entire service. That didn't stop her Missy from showing her off though. We have a couple of hundred more pictures from Easter weekend and plan on uploading more as a slide show this week.

Bath Time

After battling a cold for a couple of days, Caroline enjoyed a bath before bed on Tuesday.
