Here it is the last week of May and we haven't updated Caroline's blog. Sorry. It seems that blogging is one of the first things to drop out of the crosscheck of life. With my work schedule and Beth being back to work we find ourselves consumed with who will be taking and picking up Caroline from daycare, what we'll be eating for lunch and dinner, and the continual cleaning and prepping of bottles. Caroline has been a great baby through all of this. I know everyone says that about their kids, but she really has taken everything in stride.
Here are answers to some of the more regular questions we field:
Yes, she's doing well with daycare. She has better days than others (who doesn't?), but on the whole she seems to be doing well. Last Thursday and the previous Friday her caregivers said they were very proud of how good she was. There have been a couple of fussy days to counterbalance those and the rest of the time she finds herself somewhere in the middle. I've been able to make it to see her during my lunch at least twice a week so that has been good...I'm not sure Caroline cares one way or the other, but I enjoy spending some the time with her.
Yes, she's sleeping through the night. She's been doing that for a month now (glad I wrote that on Twitter or I never would have remembered when she started that). She usually heads to bed around 9pm and sleeps until 6:30-7:30am. Thank you, Caroline.
No, she isn't rolling over yet. She has been rolling onto her side though. She's definitely more active and alert now as well. For the past week or so she's been able to pick objects off the floor when she's playing on her back. She also seems to like grabbing and batting things above her...to include her mom's hair.
Okay, enough words...you're probably here for the pictures anyway.
